The circular model is an economic system aimed to combat resource depletion and pollution by minimizing extraction and waste production. Pro-circularity initiatives include reducing, reusing, recycling, remanufacturing, sharing, repairing, refurbishing, etc. Ultimately, this system is a result of rethinking our status quo: a linear — “take, make, dispose” — model which is outdated and unsustainable.
